Ohhh, small blades of the right shape in the right role can be great, but "guru" Nino Kalaj has made a monumental fail (regardless of his MMA "chops").
Guys, I know for a fact that the OP has a sister who successfully defended herself with the thing. I know this because I read it on the Internet, and like the lady in the State Farm commercial says, they can't put anything on the Internet that's not true. I read that on the internet.
The lady was attacked by an animal thought to have been extinct. It was several times bigger than she was, though they haven't identified it yet they think it's some kind of lizard, possibly a saurian (no, not the guy who tried to kill Frodo.) Despite their size and strength difference, she managed to cut some of the tendons and run away.
Ahhhh, a pen that is truly mightier than the sword...As for self defense, if there are times I'm not allowed for one reason or another to carry a gun or a knife, I have yet to find a place that won't allow a teacher (or anyone else, for that matter) to carry a pen. I have had to use this once, and it did a very good job at stopping a person from trying to take my car in Nogales.
Uhh, I believe that was sarcasm...Link to news story?
