The barrel is in .22 Hornet, and made by Virgin Valley for an Encore frame. This means the barrel uses the proprietary VV hanger system for the forend. I'm wondering if I separate them, that means this wood could only be used on VV barrels using this system, potentially limiting potential buyers. So, knowing this; is it sell the barrel with the wood set, or without the wood set, selling the wood pair separately?

Below is the set, to allow you a better idea of what we are working with. Thanks, and appreciate your insight.

I'm with the others. At least the fore end should go with the barrel. However, you then break up the wood set. Or, you sell a guy a barrel that he will have a hard/$$ time getting the wood for now.

I know when i buy Contender barrels I look for those with the fore end to save me the hassle of finding one down the road.

The wood only works with the barrel, and the barrel only works with that wood. Keep it as a set.

Or, better still, get a new VV type barrel and keep that gorgeous wood set on your pistol!!

If you sell the barrel and fore end together, then you're stuck with the grip that probably won't match any other fore end in the world. I'd try to keep the set together.
