I own 3 automatics and 4 revolvers. I'm a revolver guy for the most part, but acknowledge that bottomfeeders have a well deserved place in self defense.
My first gun ever was a Glock 21. I still have it. I almost never shoot it. I have an additional 400corbon barrel for it, an additional 2-piece steel recoil rod for it, 2 holsters for it and 6 magazines. I reload for 45acp and 400corbon.
I also have a 1911 that I shoot more often. I don't have any 400corbon accessories for it, but can get a barrel easily enough if I want. Now that I have a 357 and 44mag, I don't see much of a reason to use the 400corbon platform.
Then, I have an XD9. I love shooting this auto.
I'm considering selling the G21 and buying an XD45. In comparison between one another, my XD9 points more naturally than my G21 (the G21 points high, then I have to adjust). I am also very hesitant to let the glock sit in my nightstand/truck/holster/wherever with a round in the chamber, but don't have the same level of apprehension with the XD9.
What do you guys think? There are 2 things that are stopping me from selling this gun:
1. It's my first gun.
2. I'm not certain I want to sell ANY gun. Nothing wrong with buying more guns, but selling any is kinda dumb. But I don't really want more autos. I just wish my G21 were an XD45. I might shoot it more. That and if my autos were of the same design, I would shoot 9mm and 45acp consistently, interchangeably. Not that I shoot either gun poorly now, I just need half a magazine to adjust when changing between the two.
