well.. first of all, im really, really bored lately.. so ive been thinking and wondering how fun it would be to build a legal, semi automatic 16 inch carbine version of either a mac 10, or a sten.
ive done all the research i can on the sten, found 16 inch barrels, know i need a semi automatic bolt for it... does anyone have a source of semi bolts for stens? or know how to make one from the origional?...
also, whats needed to make the mac 10 a legal semi that fires from a closed bolt?.. i know the upper and lower receivers are like the simplest things in the world to make yourself, but i want to be legal with this so any information on what needs to be done to make, or where to buy a semi bolt and what other changes id need for this would be good... chances are id use an M16 A2 buttstock for it and a vented, maybe even a quad rail forearm
so any assistance for either of these possible builds would be much appreciated
