Semi vs Over/Under

Thats a tough one, i guess i depends on location, bird type. For Vermont where i bird hunt grouse i would go with a semi. They fly crazy fast in VT and you need more than 2 rounds often.

It depends, for Ruffed grouse a u/o for sure, Usually a 20 guage. for pheasants a semi auto but if I have to get in and out of my truck alot, the o/u is handier or if I'm tired of the extra weight or my bad shouder is sore.

Sometimes when quail hunting one or two birds will get up after the initial covey rise. Its nice to have a couple of extra shells when that happens.
