On the grounds that he was a vehement anti firearms politician, feel it is not inappropriate to post.....

Ted Kennedy died this morning approx 01:00 hours.

Now who will get "elevated" to his hereditary open position......surely not another Kennedy.....:evil:
 
Don't even know what to say, since I was raised not to speak ill of the dead...

Let's hope MA, even though they are about as left of center as any state in the union, manage to elect someone with a somewhat more tempered view of gun politics.
 
Nasty comments aside- I am wondering who MA will elect to replace him. With the climate today, this could be a big change.
 
The unspoken elephant in the tent was the neat way that Ole Teddy tried to ensure an anointed successor by demanding the MA state legislation change the state constitution to allow for a gubernatorial appointment as opposed to the messy process of a democratic vote.

Alas it did not come to pass.......:)

I hold my hand above my crystal balls and predict it will be yet another tombstone toothed Kennedy, Eddie Jr, Patrick, Joe or Caroline....oh or his wife.......:banghead: :banghead:

Well he held out for a lot of years being as crooked as he was. I have family and freinds all over Mas. and I can never figure who actually voted for him. Remember they control California now too.
 
I'm not saying he was a good man. I'm saying a bit of respect for the dead never goes out of style.
