Senators Schumer and Feinstein Discovered with Firearms

by Jim Kouri, CPP

A recent poll conducted by the National Association of Chiefs of Police indicated that almost 64 percent of police commanders and sheriffs favor a law allowing private citizens to carry concealed firearms for protection. Almost 73 percent said that citizens should not be restricted from purchasing more than one weapon, and 96 percent say they believe criminals obtain firearms from illegal sources.

Unfortunately most states -- especially those called Blue States due to their Liberal-leanings -- continue to prohibit private citizens from carrying concealed handguns.

At the same time, there are outspoken opponents of gun ownership, such as Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Diane Feinstein (D-CA), who are carrying concealed weapons, according to WABC Radio's Mark Levin. Levin, a recognized constitutional expert, heads the Landmark Legal Foundation. The LLF's goal is to protect American's from unreasonable and illegal government intrusions and violations of the US Constitution, including the Second Amendment.

The mainstream news media have been aware that several antigun proponents are carrying concealed firearms but have failed to expose this hypocrisy. This writer's efforts to discover how many other anti-gunners are also packing heat -- a right they wish to deny other citizens -- met with limited results.

Not only does Schumer carry a handgun, the New York City Police Department also provides armed escorts for the good senator. In fact, the Government Accounting Office -- the investigative arm of the US Congress -- slammed Schumer's use of police resources for personal protection. It's clear that Schumer believes he's special. He wishes to ban private citizens' ownership of firearms, while he enjoys layers of protection.

"No wonder Chuckie Schumer shoots his mouth off so much -- he's able to protect himself," says a 25-year police veteran.

Also, a check of Pistol License records shows that Senator Schumer possesses an "unrestricted" pistol permit, a rarity in New York City. Licenses are distributed in different categories in the Big Apple: Target Permits allow only use of a firearm at a licensed firing range; Premises Permits allow weapons to be kept in a home or apartment; Restricted Permits allow the gunowner to carry their firearms concealed but only within the purview of their job (security, jewelers, armored car guards, etc.). So it's evident that Senator Schumer has two sets of rules -- one for Americans and one for himself.

And then we have Senator Diane Feinstein on the Left Coast who possesses something more rare than a conservative Republican in San Francisco -- an unrestricted concealed weapons permit. Apparently without shame, she participated in a citywide gun turn-in program that was intended to create some kind of statue from the donated guns that were to be melted down. One of her police body guards let it slip that she contributed a cheap model for the meltdown, while retaining her .357 magnum revolver for her own personal self-defense.

Hypocrisy is not limited to politicians when it comes to the Second Amendment. For Example, well-known Washington-based columnist, Carl Rowan, often wrote about the ills of firearms ownership. Until, that is, he shot and wounded a teenager who trespassed on his property. The white teenaged boy claimed he wanted to try Rowan's swimming pool. Rowan, an African-American, retaliated with deadly force using a firearm. That's when the news came out that Carl Rowan, gun-control advocate, actually possessed a license to own firearms.

Another example is the loudmouth entertainer, Rosie O'Donnell, who once ran roughshod over conservative actor Tom Selleck because of his stance supporting the Second Amendment. Although Ms. O'Donnell doesn't carry a gun, she has three armed bodyguards who protect her, her wife and her children, something the vast majority of hardworking Americans could never afford. Isn't it comforting to know all these Liberals are looking out for us?

Good article, but:
Unfortunately most states ... continue to prohibit private citizens from carrying concealed handguns.

Leather, in NYC (as well as other large Yankee cities), yes, they do. Housing Authority po-po.

Our would-be masters in D.C. do not hate guns contrary to the nonsense spewed by the NRA or GOA--"Senator X hates guns!" No, he/she does not hate guns. Senator Lefty hates us.

We have guns. We are able to resist him when he comes for our property, our children. Able to resist the suspension of the Constitution, the relocation programs, the re-education programs, currency reform, inter alia that the Left so badly wants.

Ah yes ...

As Jane Fonda is supposed to have said .... "Those laws (firearms controls) aren't supposed to mean us .... :barf:

Don't forget our gungrabbing friend at the UN Mr 'Coffee' Annan. His guards had unregistered submachineguns in NYC. I've heard the esteemed 'ban all hunting ammo' Ted Kennedy had bodyguards with unregistered SMGs as well.

When can we round all these hypocrites up and throw them into Boston Harbor?

Hey, those "elitists" don't HAVE to adhere to the laws of us "low-lifes"! By the way, when Senator Fineswine's CCW permit was about to expire, she sent a "whiney" letter to the Sheriff of the county that she lives in, explaining that she was "somebody", and had been threatened in the past. Her CCW permit was renewed!

In Los Angeles County, VERY few CCW permits are approved. At one time, however, the Chief of the Culver City Police Department (Ted Cooke) approved over 200 CCW applications during one year. That same year, the Chief of the LAPD (Bernard Parks) only approve TWO applications! Considering that Culver City is a "postage stamp"-sized city, with less than 1 million population, and that Los Angeles City is HUGE, with over 10 million residents.....Uh!

The Sheriff of Los Angeles County (Lee Baca) has approved NUMEROUS applications....but ONLY if you are "somebody"! Many of his deputies refer to those "special" people as being Baca's "celebrity posse". One of those "celebrities" was nothing more than the SON of a "VIP celebrity", but his CCW application was approved. That person caused a slight stir, for he was a drug addict AND an alcoholic! Somehow, when he brandished a "legal" firearm in an "illegal" manner, the news media sort of "forgot" to print the story!

There was a STRONG rumor story about one of Senator Barbara Boxer's (another anti-gun idiot) personal bodyguards having caused a restaurant to clear out in panic, when his "legal", full-auto MP-5 fell out of his shoulder holster. I'm not sure, but I believe that Senator "anti-gun" Boxer ALSO has a valid CCW permit.....but feels the NEED to have "machinegun-toting" bodyguards around at all times.
(By the way, both Senators Swinestein and Boxer are multi-millionaires).

Lest we forget....Senator John F. Kerry doesn't OWN one of those "evil", gas-guzzling Sport Utility Vehicles! The SUVS that were photographed on the driveway of ONE of his estates was owned by the "family"! (HMM! That's curious, and so are his THREE Purple Hearts, for having been in "combat" action for only about 3 months! I was in TRUE combat for a full 13 months, back in 1967-1968, and shed some blood, but didn't receive a Purple Heart)

"Do as I SAY, not as I DO, you peons!"

I almost forgot to mention one particular celebrity that was given the "privelege" of carrying a concealed weapon....and that "privelege" was one of the few "universal" FEDERAL carry permits approved for a private citizen.

That "celebrity" was none other than Ronald Reagan, when he was the President of the Screen Actor's Guild, back in the 1950's, when Senator Joe McCarthy was investigating communist activities in the USA.

Reagan approached the FBI and said that he would report the communist activities within the movie industry.....but would NOT give out the names of the "elitists" in Hollywood that were actively involved in the communist party. Reagan received numerous death threats, even though he didn't reveal the names of the COUNTLESS commies in the movie industry.

Ronald Reagan packed a .32 auto in a shoulder holster for several years. From what I have been able to find out, he felt that it was wrong to be a "snitch", even though he was an avid anti-commie.

By the way, the leader of the American Communist Party (don't recall his name), just before he died, said that Senator Joe McCarthy had it RIGHT ON TARGET when he went hunting for the communist influence in the USA. The NEWS MEDIA was used to the advantage of the commies, making Joe McCarthy appear to be out on some sort of "witch hunt".

I almost PUKED when, during the recent "Peace March" in Washington had a revered black man take the podium and openly state that he was a member of the American Communist Party! I do NOT want the commies in this country, for I have SEEN what they did in southeast Asia! We NEED another "right on target" politician, such as Senator McCarthy, and to have the news media BUTT-OUT!

That's self preservation. Someone like Ted probably knows his submachine gun toting goonsquad are no match for a 30.06 at 300yds.

And I'm sure koffe has made more than a few enemies in his screwing of the world's populace.

The efforts to protect themselves from a continually more aggrivated citizenry are especially evident in the .50 bmg ban in PRK California.

Think about it... The 50 BMG---
--Can shoot down an airliner...inflight?---- Don't think so.
--Can shoot through a bullet proofed limosine? Feasable, but how many people that you know own bulletproof limosines...... hmmm... who would be in the market for a bullet proofed limosine??

Someone that has money...
And has a reasonable fear for their own safety.. Possibly due to something they did or said..

Your Nieghbor??
The Mailman??
Koffe annon??
Senator Kennedy??

I don't know who said it.. but.
Gun control is not about guns.. It's about control..

Edited because I can't spell..

Also, a check of Pistol License records shows that Senator Schumer possesses an "unrestricted" pistol permit, a rarity in New York City.

You know, this would be a lot more powerful if someone would post either a digital PDF or scanned, print resolution .tiff or .jpg file that could be resampled, copied, and smeared from one side of the internet to the other.

Justin.

+1
That is the best idea I have heard in a long time!!!

There has got to be a way to get that done.

Any Ideas??

Yep, thinkin' the same. Then we can make sure it is available to all sorts of media. :D

Guys, guys, guys! How many times do they have to say it? All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

Email just sent to Mark Levin

Recent news reports have you claiming Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-NJ, is in possession of an unrestricted concealed handgun permit for NYC. As an avid gun rights supporter I find it ironic that America's preeminent gun control advocate would be able to obtain a permit to carry in the very city where handgun possession is severely restricted.

I can assure you gun rights advocates would dearly love to see a copy of Sen. Schumer's carry permit. Going one step further, I can see several databases springing up in the ether dedicated to preserving said documentation for posterity.

Would it be asking too much for you to make available just one piece of information to the gun rights movement? We'll take it from there.

Regards

Waitone

You too can email Levin at http://www.wabcradio.com/EmailAddresses.asp Just select him from the drop down list and have at it. :D

Standing Wolf

Well, yeah, but doesn't the nation actually need a self-appointed aristocracy?

Technically yes every once in a while someone should try. But only as an example to others who would try.

See your own sig line for how it should work.

Problem is it's been too long since it worked that way.
