Sendero 300 Win Mag mounts & bases help?

I have a Sendero 300 WM that I originally had a Simmons Tactical 1" scope with Leupold Mark 4 rings and two piece bases. I am moving up to a 30mm tube for this gun and will need new rings.

Q. What are the best rings out there, and does it matter that much?

Q. Is a one piece base better than two, and should there be a hight difference from front to back?

There are a lot of opinions on the best rings out there. These folks have very nice hunting mounts and rings.

A one piece base offers more rigidity. As far as height, the rings should mate to the base or bases. If the base is built for longer range, it may have some MOA compensation. These folks have nice one piece bases and rings, very robust.

If you want some Badger Max 50's let me know. They are serial numbered together and used by the U.S. military. The Max 50's are used on 50 cals and use 6 screws per ring. Mine have been used but look like new.
