SF Bay Area shoot this weekend!

Hey folks,

I'm looking to get together a few people for an SF Bay Area shoot on Saturday, March 11th 2006.

We'll be meeting at the Chabot Gun Club in Castro Valley. I'm likely going to be heading out from the Peninsula around 10:00-10:30am, and hope to be there around 11:30 at the latest (but you know how that goes...).

As always, I'll be bringing a little BBQ and some charcoal, so bring some food (burgers, hot dogs, chips, whatever!) for yourself. If you've got a bit extra to share, that wouldn't hurt either!

From talking to people locally, it looks like there'll be around 4 people or so who'll be definitely coming, and the more the merrier!

The weather in Castro Valley can be somewhat unpredictable, and it looks like it'll be in the 40s-50s on Saturday, with a chance of rain. Dress warmly in layers and bring water-repellant clothing. See the WeatherBug page for Castro Valley for more up-to-date information about the wather. If the weather reports show it getting too bad, it's possible that we might have to have a rain check.

Just read the other topic. I think I'm just going to aim for the 18th. Having a bunch of shoots in a row is fun, but rather hard on my wallet.

Mmmmm... interesting timing on this. My Texas girl got a rifle for xmas from her Texan dad and we havn't had a chance to wring it out yet. This is a definite possibility.

Sorry for the short notice -- my friend just came in from out of town, and I figured I'd be heading out there. There hasn't been a Bay Area shoot for a while, so I figured I'd mention it here. I've been in and out of THR for a few months, so I didn't notice the other post until labrat pointed me to it today.
