I have a pile of shell head holders. (I've got one for a 450/400 NE 3.5".) They are several different makes. I've started a chart showing manufacturers and number to indicate what shell they hold. No publisher of such information wants it easy to use; everyone of them is able to be printed, but not copied and collated. To make it all more complicated, some of the holders I have show about half the number (top or bottom) stamped on the holder. Good way to work on one's clairvoyant abilities.
The helpful part is that .45 ACP, .30-06 Springfield, .308 Win, most of the common military Mausers (except 6.5x55mm Swede) all take the same size shell holder. And so does all the wildcats based on those cartridges. Nearly all the 'belted magnum' cases take the same holder, which also fits the .303 British and the .30-40 Krag (and I think the .444 Marlin, but I don't have one of those, so I'm not sure). Just as a bit of trivia, the shell holder for .32 ACP also fits .30 Carbine. The 8x56Rmm Austro-Hungarian Empire (Mannlicher) round is all by itself. (8x50Rmm etc is the same, now I think about it.)
Good luck!
