Does that mean I have to start shipping their ammo back to them?
I'm just relating what was said to me in an email correspondence with one of their customer service reps. This is exactly what it said.
Thank you for your recent e-mail. In order to qualify for Dealer
status we require one of the following documents:
- Signed copy of your Federal Firearms License (FFL) (The FFL must
be signed in ink and mailed to us if you choose to purchase serialized
products.)
- State issued Tax Resale Certificate: Certificate must be issued
by the State Government for a business related to Shooting, Reloading,
Gunsmithing, Hunting and Outdoor Trades.
- Business or Merchants License: License must be issued by State,
County or Local Government for a business related to Shooting,
Reloading, Gunsmithing, Hunting or Outdoor Trades.
For students enrolled in a gunsmithing program of instruction:
- Letter from your registrar verifying enrollment,
- Copy of your current course schedule that shows you are enrolled
in a gunsmithing program.
Government, Military and Police:
- Dealer pricing is extended to Agencies and Departments, Military
Branches and units.
You can either mail or fax your documentation to us. Please allow 2-3
days for processing. Please do not send any attachments via email as
our virus screening software will not allow us to open the attachment.

Our fax number is 1-800-992-8312. If faxing your FFL, please
hand-write the FFL number and expiration date, as the white text on black
background often does not come through well on a fax copy.
Once your account is set up as a Dealer account, you can log into our
website at
www.midwayusa.com using your e-mail address and password
(which you select), and click on the blue "Welcome Dealer Resource Center"
button. If you have not logged into our website before, you will need
to establish an account by using the same name and address information
you provided to us when you sent your credentials in to establish your
dealer account. Once logged into our website, you can view special
information pertaining to your dealer account. Please note that a
printable version of our 2006 Dealer Master Catalog is available on our
website for downloading and printing.
At this time we are unable to ship ammunition to Illinois under any
circumstances.
