Correct - no law against it. However, since the recipient is not a licensee, federal law requires the shipper disclose to the carrier that the package contains a firearm. At that point, UPS or FedEx will most likely refuse the shipment, as they will only deliver firearms to a licensee.
Is there any federal law that forbids the shipping of firearms to a non ffl in state? If I buy/sale a handgun via private sale, can it be shipped the mail without a FFL being involved?
FYI, I live in VA were F2F sales are legal.
