Hey all,

I am not really sure if this should be here in general or autoloader given the fact that I am asking for info for the sake of my autoloader.

If all that was confussing here let me just ask the question.

I am looking to purchase a shoulder holster rig for my H&K USP45 (Full size 12+1) that has the Insight Technologies' M2 UTL (Universal Tactical Light) attachment.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE???

Links, addressess, phone numbers, and emails Anything would be helpful even prices too.

So let's see what you all got cause I am itching to get one and fast.

Thanks,

USMCDK

Try this guy:

Not sure if he's got a mold for your particular model, but I've found his SMZ shoulder rig to be a good one. Very short waiting period, too. And yes, I asked him about a shoulder rig for a gun with a light on it. Making one didn't sound like a problem.

The Andrews Monarch shoulder rig is very highly regarded as among the best on the market (tied with or just below Alessi). I expect that he could do the job, but it might take a while.

Various other holster folks, some/many of which have shoulder rigs:

I'm sure a lot of 'em are willing to make a model for you that fits the gun + light. Some may already have one.

Thank you Geronimo45 I will check out these links now that I am back from my 2wks of annual training and have access to computers.

thanks AK103K it not a bad price either $143.90 it includes tax, S+H. Once again thank you Geronimo45 but those sites, other than the last one, couldn't help me out. but it is much appreciated that you found that out for me.

I will let you guys know how the rig works out for me, as soon as I can.

AK103 gave you a good link.....

Robert @ Survival Sheath Systems did a kydex rig for me a few years back for the same kind of weapon set up you are describing (HK USP45 Tactical /w UTL M2). I have used it in a variety of situations and have been nothing less than happy with it. Good retention, smooth draw, well made.

I just talked to Robert personnally over the phone and he said tht my shoulder holster should be at me door step within a business week/7business days. AWESOME!!!

Glad you found something that works for you. Tell us how it works when you get it... I'm always ready to spend money. :p
And when you first get your holster, be ready to adjust it for at least one week, maybe two. It'll take a while to get it just right. 'Tis the nature of shoulder rigs. Once you have it set up proper, life is good.
If the rig you ordered has a tie down, I've found that it's best to attach the thing around a belt loop, so that it doesn't swing around so much. Tends to provide a very stable platform.

Thanks for the good advise I will do so, and if it don't have a tie-down I will construct one or find a way to use my military A-frame harness straps to clip it down to my pants or belt.
