Shooter's Choice MC#7?

I'm wondering your experience with this product. It was highly recommended to me by an old gunsmith i believe to be one of the best. I would have to order some so I wanted to ask about it first. The search didnt seem to help.

I have a bottle of shooter's choice, but honestly have yet to use it. It is stronger than Hoppes which I normally use, got it for if I ran into fouling thinking the ammonia or stronger cleaner might work better, but have yet to run into any real fouling, so - it is not nice smelling IMHO, and the extra chemicals are not really good for regular use IMHO.

Used a number of their products for more than a decade and no reason for concern. FP-10 is my go-to for nearly everything that doesn’t require vigorous scrubbing.

I use both FP-10 and Shooters Choice MC #7. FP-10 is the best lube and worst cleaner I have ever used. Shooters Choice, as a bore cleaner, is the best I have ever used. Be careful with Shooter Choice MC #7 around the Dan Wesson Duty treat finish .

FP-10 will smear the dirt around as it is primarily a lube. MC # 7 will clean a bore like no other. Because it's just a cleaner.
