Am I the only one watching the TV show "Shooting Stars" on Velocity? It's an entertaining pro-am shotgun competition without all the fake drama of the other TV shooting shows, with weekly winners and collective winners at the end of the season.

Just thought that after all the complaining about the other shows, someone would have pointed this one out.

It is on 6pm on Saturdays, if you are interested and get that channel (I get it from DirecTV).
 
Velocity is a sort of division or offshoot of Discovery Channel. My cable company (Charter) has it, and in HD, too. But I've never seen the particular show referenced.
 
It is a pretty good show. Carl Malone, Gerald Rainey, and I can't remember the other star's name are shooting with Pros like Tom Knapp and others. It is entertaining to me and I am surprised at how well Carl can shoot. I have it set to record every week.

Its pretty interesting. Last night or night before was the first time i saw it. I really liked watching the golfing with a shotgun! That looks like a ton of fun.

Also it was surprising to see Karl Malone being a gun enthusiast!

Good comedy and ribbing between the guys too... i enjoyed it.
 
Cole Hauser is the other celeb shooter. It's a very interesting competition and some of the challenges look like a lot of fun. Karl Malone and his partner have a serious work ethic and really seem to be dominating the comp at this point.
 
I've been enjoying it since the first episode.

Velocity used to be HD Theater and Discovery HD Theater before that. They made a name change at the first of the year.
