Hi all,
I was at the local bookstore yesterday and while browsing through the bargain books (clearance) I came across "The M16" by John Huon. I have not had a chance to read through it yet, but just by flipping through the pages and reading excerpts from different sections it looks to be well written. Goes into some detail about different variants of the M16, as well as accessories ranging from mags to slings, to anything else you can think of. It also has a little bit of info on military weapons that were in use before the M16 was issued, and weapons that are becoming more popular today. There are also sections on copies made under license, .22LR conversion units, and different types of ammo used, and even some info on different AR Models (AR-7, AR-10, etc.)
If you are an M16 or AR nut, you should check this book out.
