After firing 1000 rounds a couple days ago of mixed 22 lr ammo and trying different springs and a light polishing of the feed ramp, I decided to do a more official test.

To recap, the first 1000 rounds failed miserably in the first 300 or so. About a 15% failure rate of every type of ejection problem you can have. I even had one jam so bad I had to use the cleaning rod to push the round out.

So last night I further polished the feed ramp to an even smoother surface and this time wanted to make sure I got the shine.

Take a Q-tip and wrap with a small piece of 600 grit sand paper. You can use 1600 if you like as well. Be sure to go up and down only on the ramp in a nice even motion:

Then get a dab of polishing:

Then apply over and over and over just on the ramp:

Then it becomes this:

I then cleaned and oiled it and got it ready for today.

Some people are confused as to what spring is what and which is provided in the gun. Some have said they have the heavy spring, I believe mine was shipped with the light spring.

The top spring is the light spring. It is thinner and longer.

The bottom spring is the tight spring being fatter and shorter.

For this test the light spring was used:

I shot 500 of each:

CCI Mini Mag HP Copper 1260 FPS 36 Grain and CCI Blazer Lead Nose 1235 FPS 40 Grain

Under the following conditions:

Sig Mosquito - 5 Magazines
Light spring
1000 rounds fired before this test of mixed ammo
Oiled and cleaned before test, never during
Buffed and polished feed ramp before test

Results:

CCI Mini Failure Rate - 0%
CCI Blazer Failure Rate - 1.4%

More detail can be seen here on when the failures occurred:

Not one failure rate for the Mini Mag and a pretty low only failure to load rate of 1.4% on the Blazer. No ejection failures whatsoever. The mosquito is a great gun. So much so that I am going to get rid of the two-tone that I didn't originally order (long story, don't order online) and get the reverse two-tone because this will be a keeper.

Good input, Moogs. I've been kicking around the idea of getting one of these lately (to suppress :D). Thanks for the info.
