Mods, not sure if this is general or shotgun, but here goes. So Mama Distra and I were shooting a couple rounds of skeet this afternoon and at station 2 I shot the pair no problem. About 1/2 second after breaking the low 2, I get smacked hard in the left cheek. The spot was swollen and bleeding a little. I finished out the round headed to the truck. Put my stuff away and while cleaning up I checked my cheek in the mirror. Low and behold I see what looks like #9 shoot stuck in the side of my face! I dig it out and sure enough it was #9 shot. My question is how in the h*ll did I get shot in the cheek with one pellet from what I think was my shot? Is is possible for a richocet off the high house or high house window? There was another crew shooting on an adjacent field to my right, but I don't think it came from there. Anyway it had enough energy to break the skin and embed in my face.
