1. Thanks to this forum, I understand that shotshell reloading is very different from brass cartridge reloading. There is no "start at minimum and work up." One uses the exact formula offered, other than maybe equivalent-wad substitution, and, if one knows what one is doing, similar hull substitutions (tapered vs. non-tapered, for example.)
2. That said, I can find plenty of formulas for lead shot loads that use Titewad, but not a single buckshot load formula. Also, no slug formulas.
3. I have 8 lbs. of Titewad that I would like to use ... and I'm not a wing/clay shooter. I accept that there's a good chance I can't use it.
question: is it the fact that buckshot doesn't pack tightly, and hence, requires a longer hull for a given weight, that makes Titewad unusable? Just trying to understand.
