what choke would suit my needs best? I am into waterfowl, followed by skeet and then upland game (I have a different gun for that though :)) so what 2 chokes should I buy for my remington 870 for these purposes? also, what type of choke tubes? I like the chomp-n-chokes right now.

You probably need an Imp Cyl for skeet & upland game with lead shot.

For waterfowl hunting with steel shot probably nothing tighter then a Modified for pass shooting. A Modified choke will give Full choke patterns with steel shot waterfowl loads.

The Imp Cyl would probably be better for hunting over decoys, as your shots will be much closer.

They make an actual Skeet choke.

If my memory holds correctly, steel shot is always one notch tighter. For instance, an improved modified with lead would be a full choke with steel. But please, double check this to make sure I am right.

I hunt upland with IC and Mod in my over under. For ducks I used Impov. Mod. with steel. Yes, they were close, but I had to hit them hard with the steel to bring them down.
