Shotgun loads for a Brown Bess

I would appreciate any information regarding the use of a brown bess for water fowling. If I can decoy in a goose i am hoping that I might be able to use the Brown Bess, but I have no knowledge as what steel shot and powder load would be correct for my Pedersoli replica.

Over powder wad.
Shot.
Over shot wad.

Mind you, a Brown Bess doesn't swing nicely like a fowler will.
