I hope this one is a little easier to figure out. Looks like there was an emblem on the side that is now gone, so maybe that is a giveaway on this one? OR someone added that.

The stock measures 12 1/8" across the top and 13 1/8" across the bottom.
Length of butt end is 5"

Is this another Winchester Model 12 stock?

Thanks again guys

Drew,

I’m curious as to the why and what for of your stock ID posts. It’s a bit unusual which is always intriguing.

I figured that question was coming. I am self employed. I buy and resell by either purchasing collections or clearing out someone's place like the gunsmith shop I am currently going through. It helps to have the proper identification when selling these to buyers. I hunt and fish and own many guns that have been passed down from family as well but I am not good enough to know brands and models by my eye like you guys do. I am getting an amazing education by doing this which I appreciate. Oh and I just bought roughly 8000 knives at $1.25 each from a 40 year collector and knife maker. Pocket knives all the way up to swords so THAT is another project but also job security for me. So that is me and the why in a nut shell :)

Cool beans. Something told me your explanation would be interesting.
