Shotgun stocks for the Mossberg 500 shipping to the United Kingdom

Hi I’m looking for a pistol grip stock for a Mossberg 500 I’ve found many on EBay but no one will or can shop to the UK why is this ?

Probably against some law. Can you have short, pistol grip guns?

Not too short still has to has a certain barrel length but a pistol griped stock will be ok not just a pistolgrip

It may or may not be against the law (firearm laws, export or import regulations, etc.). Many sellers aren’t attorneys and just don’t know so they don’t want to risk what could be significant issues (fines, forced business closure or prison time) just to sell one or two items.

It's probably more the influence of ITAR than any problem on the UK side.
Stocks, magazines, optics, brass and non-pressure bearing parts such as firing pins and ejectors are not restricted here in the UK. The sad thing is, it is easier to fly out with a stock in your suitcase than try to get one sent over.
I declare the item at both ends (TSA on leaving and UK customs on entry). The only hiccup I have had was with cartridge components from one of the crime labs in the US, where the projectiles were unexpanded JHPs. Those were taken for analysis upon arrival at Heathrow but they were released to me the next day.

Not a suggestion but I do know many folks order and ship to friends in the US who then repackage. They also declare and pay any tariffs.

Is it possible to order it from your local gun club? Might be cheaper too.
