should "one shot" be removed?

I'm not doubting anyone but my experience is different. The only case I have ever stuck in a die was a 30-06 case using OS without letting it dry.

To be clear I'm not saying it won't work at all when wet; I'm just noting that the few reports I've seen of it not working all seem to be related to using it wet.

In other words, it seems to always work dry (which is, I believe, how the manufacturer recommends it be used) and almost always seems to work wet.

Dry=no reports of problems
Wet=a few reports of problems

I also think it depends on how generous you are when you spray it on. Thin/not all around may not work as well as a good dosing. I tried running my fingers up a piece of 308 after spraying then on another after letting it dry. Dry was definitely more slippery/slick.

I had one case stick using OS. I didn't let it dry, probably didn't use enough or maybe missed the case completely. Since One Shot works for so many of us, when it doesn't work the reason is operator error.
I never remove it and see no reason to do so.

I am using OS as I reload pistol cases. I fill a coffee can about 3/4 full of cases, then I squirt a couple of shots of OS into the can, close it and roll it around a little.

The brass is not wet, but there is a slight sense of oiliness to them. They go through the press a lot easier than running them completely dry.

I just got a 2nd toolhead for my dillon 650. Gonna dump all the dirty lubed brass in the case feeder, run through on the new toolhead to size and deprime (may bell too) then clean in the ultrasonic. This will take care of the case prep as well as not having to wipe lube all the finished rounds

I have stuck 3 .308s with oneshot. The first was a die problem, so it can be discounted. New sizing die...The other 2 were very close to each other in the mix. I stuck 1 and was able to pull it with a tapped bolt. The second was RIGHT after dousing the same batch of brass to make sure I didn’t stick another one. I tumbled off the OS and hoses my brass down with Pam and loaded the next 300 or so without issue.
