I hereby decree June 18 to be "National Show of Your Bench Day". If you have any pictures of your reloading setup please post them below. (I need ideas for setting up my bench) :D

Specifically if you have a single stage and a powder measure, did you mount the measure at the edge of the table or back away from the edge?

[edited to correct some spelling errors.... man it's late.... time for slumber]

i don't do the picture posting thing, but here's how my set-up goes for my single stage rockchucker.

when standing at the press... to my right is the case trimmer, in front of me is the press, and if i have the seating die in, powder measure is piggybacked onto my press. to my left are loading blocks. behind me is the tumbler, in the drawers beneath the bench are caliber specific drawers that contain dies and brass, and on the shelf in front of me are tools (uniformer, deburring tool, etc etc etc etc).

if i was to mount my measure by itself, i would put it on a stand and mount it at the edge of the table. think it depends on how high your bench is.

A little friggin' warning next time??!!!

I'd love to participate, but the bench is a mess and I have a hot date tonight. Needless to say you're not getting a pic tonight.

Here is my current bench(s)

I don't have a bench.

I have a bookshelf bolted to the wall, to which I've bolted my press.

It's worked OK, for 10 years, but it is cramped.

I need to get a bench.

I need to get a real press, too. The Lee turret isn't exactly a stellar performer. OK, but not stellar.

Well whenever you get time, we could make it National Show Off Your Bench Week. :D

dakotasin, excelent info. I'm a little concerned about mounting the measure on the edge of the bench since any spills / leaks will end up in the carpet. Course I could rig up a stray powder catcher with very little trouble. The bench is fairly high, not sure of the actual dimensions, but once I get home I can measure it up. I'd say it's about waist level on a 6'3" sized doode.

My God, jeeper! That is one hell of a nice reloading room. (and dog too) Someday I hope to attain that level of coolness. :D

My bench at my last house was cooler. I just didnt have the time or will power to make all those cabinets again though.

Well I thought I had a nice set up but I have to admit you guys put mine to shame. Here are some pics. I am living in a too small rental house right now while we are finishing building our house and at least it doesn't take up much room in the dining room.

Here, m14dan this will make you feel better!
I commandeered a 4' space in the laundry room between the wall & the freezer. First kid that moves out of the house looses his/her bedroom, then I make it my life's goal to make Jeeper jealous!
There are cabinets above the bench that don't show up in the pic.

I have seen many reloading setups that make me very jealous. I was at one buddies house and he had 8 Dillon 1050's. He also had 7 tumblers. I almost fell over. Most of them he won in matches. He had an enormous area to load. i wanted to cry.

Gary H.,

THAT is a rockin' loading bench... :D

Gotta love that RCBS equipment.

Jeeper,

Nice setup as well. The previous bench (cabinet) looked like a real winner. I bet those cabinets were tedious to build.

I snagged the family room in our current house...

So I could reload and gunsmith in air-conditioned comfort. Grainy, I only recently bought a better digicam:
