As some of you may know, I have a "Soft Spot" in my heart...my WIFE might say in my HEAD...for "Moonclipped" S&W's...ESPECIALLY the .45 ACP's, chief among them being the 625...so, without further ado, some 625 pics...

...these are four of my 625's...clockwise from top left, a NIB 625 "JM", a 625 "Performance Center" recently purchased from our own "Dewey", with a SUPERB action he did, a "Model of 1988" tuned by Lou Ciamillo of MGW and a "Model of 1989" with a "Home-made" action job by yours truly...

...here's the 625 "JM", with the Jerry Miculek-autographed box...from "S&W Days" promo at a local dealer...

...here's the 625 "PC" that I got from "Dewey"...

Nice. Drifter, so some 625s are in .45 colt? 8200rpm, I like 'em dirty.

I think all serious 'gun nut' types get involved with a "buy more than one of the exact same gun"-sydrome sooner or later, but NO sub-group of gunnies seem to succumb to this affliction more than the revolver fanatics.

My 625 and friends.
Second pic of 3"er and friends.

Can't say as I've gotten into the ".45 acp in a revolver" craze as of yet (I just prefer a 1911 for that caliber), but I sure do like the .45 Colt caliber in a 25 or 625. I have two now, a 4" model 25-5, which is gorgeous in every detail and a wonder to shoot. (No photos of it yet.) And I have this 625 Lew Horton Special (1 of 200 made) in .45 Colt which I really love:

Here's my 625. I mostly shoot .45AR through it. I'd like to find a matching one in .45 Colt like those above someday.
