Which press do you end up using the most (work horse)?

Which press is easiest for you to change caliber?

Which press is your favorite?

And knowing what you know now, would you have started with a Dillon 1050?

I am asking because I MAY have an opportunity to add a 1050 to my bench in the near future (I will still keep my two Pro 1000)

Also, is there another press you would recommend over the 1050 in the similar price range.

The only thing in the price range of the 1050 is a couple of lesser machines. Once you go up from a 1050 the next level is around $25,000 for an ammoload or camdex.

Just tell me which one to buy, and why it's the one. For loading <1000 rounds at a time, and changing calibers before the next loading session. Powder check desired. Standard dies required.

As much as I would like to hear what Gavin truly thinks about each machine, I'm betting he'll keep all negative opinions to himself. It is worth mentioning however, that he has custom pieces for sale that fit ONLY the Hornady LNL. Does that suggest that the LNL NEEDS custom parts or that it's the closest thing to perfection and therefore DESERVES a little perfecting? Man I love my LNL.

Red, Blue, Green and Lee what ever machine does the job you WANT it to do then that's the machine for you!

XL-650 is the current Dillon.

I was told it's not the size, but how you use it that matters ...

I will admit though, I was impressed by the Dillon 1050 that my retired bullet caster used. It was simply awesome.
