I really want to buy one of these sigs, but the slide bites me when i shoot one.
does anyone know of a grip or grip maker that makes an extended grip at the tang to help prevent slide bite?
thanks.

some say the P232 with Hougue rubber grips will help with slide bite...Marschal (sp) I believe makes wood grips that help here too...

Good gun in it's day, but in this age of super compact 9mm and .380's why bother?

Yes, and the outdated 1911 is in the same boat... much better choices in a .45acp these days in smaller, more compact frames.

Because I haven't found a super compact 9mm yet that is the same size as a P230 or 232 that has both SA and DA capability (i.e. exposed hammer). Show me one and I'll have it in my hands by sundown.
