We received a lot of the SIG 556 rifles in various configurations today, I guess the distributor was throwing a SIG 522LR, the 22LR version of the 556 in 5.56 Nato in for free.
So being the feller I am, I bought one of the 556 Classics with the SIG Red Dot Sight on it and got the 522 free!
While I have sold several of the 556's in the past, and shot one of them ever so briefly, I have not gotten any feedback from customers on either one of these models, we only just started selling the 522, and none of us have fired one on our range yet....so the question is.....
Does anybody have any comments, good or bad on either one of these models?
As for the 556, they seem to be a well built rifle, with a fairly fast twist, It is 1/7...the 522 seems to be built well, but....we'll have to bisect it to see!
