SIG answers the question no one asked.....

There have been times - usually during holdups, that CCP holders have had the opportunity to draw discreetly and defend themselves.

I think it is during those situations that it is better not to have something either bright or shiny that might draw the attention of an otherwise distracted robber / assailant.
Wouldn't that dictate having your gun more or less match your clothes?

A black pistol stands out against a pair of robin's egg Capri's. A stainless pistol stands out against black slacks.

Female clothing styles in the developed/W.E.I.R.D. world tend towards bright colors and close fit. To avoid drawing attention, the guns women carry should be brightly colored and slim.

I for one think that Sig has more than enough models at the present time. the last thing they need is another. I was discussing that very topic with a local gunsmith earlier today. They have so many models that it is almost impossible to remember them.

You could've made the same arguments when they came out with their 1911 line, but they're still selling them -- and now they've got a striker-fired SIG... (Something I'd be interested in, at the right price, used.)

SIG's job is to sell guns -- not to simply maintain the purity of a design concept or make only certain type of weapons. SIG is in business to make money, and if new designs will make them MORE money, they will do it. They're like Glock with it's new .380: if they (SIG) build them, "they" (the buying public) will come.

Look o slickguns, they have a constant supply of new and used Sigs, including the new 3 series. The 250's and 229, 226 are plentiful, and there is a C3 for 699.00.
