Anyone had a chance to try both lately? Which one feels better?

I'm contemplating of getting a DAO pistol and these two are on top of my list. Thanks for any info! :)

I have a P2000 with the LEM trigger. I dry fired a Sig DAK at the NRA exhibition in Houston.

The Sig feels much more like DA revolver pull, though it is light at 6.5 lbs. You have the same resistance throughout the trigger pull.

The trigger pull on the LEM is the same length as a typical DA. As you pull the trigger, the hammer moves back. However, since the spring is pre-cocked, it is very light until the break point. (Mine breaks at about 7.5 pounds.) If you can't try the LEM trigger, try a ParaOrdnance LDA. It is the same idea.

I liked the Sig DAK. If you want a trigger that is closer to a DA revolver pull, the DAK is much closer to it than the LEM.

The DAK is a good trigger: easy to get used to with a lightning fast reset. For some reason, the LEM feels smoother to me. H&K's trigger is a great DA trigger by any measure.

I have both the HK P2000 LEM and the SIG P229R-DAK. I had the P2000 first and loved the trigger. Then I got the P229R-DAK and quickly fell in love with it. The DAK pull is smoother and shorter with no hint of the release. I now find the pull of the P2000 both too long and too light. The SIG's reset point is a bit farther, but not enough to be of any concern. Other than high end target pistols, the DAK is the best trigger system I've ever experienced. Now if they'll only add it to the P239 and I'll have a perfect pair of CCW pistols. :)

The LEM gives you an hint of the release because of the stacking.. this I don't like.. the DAK on the other hand is smooth with a surprise let off. Once again Sig shows that it knows how to make guns with good triggers (if nothing else  ) and H&K shows that they know how to make guns with well..(some things are better left unsaid  )

The DAK feels like a nice, light DA trigger, and the reset is very short and crisp.

The LEM trigger is light as well, but I don't like the length of the pull, or the stacking at the end.

I like the DAK trigger much better.

Yes, HK can convert the LEM for you or you can do it yourself if you can find an LEM parts kit. Good luck.

I find the DAK odd in that the trigger pull is 6.5 lbs if you let the trigger go all the way forward between shots. If you only let the trigger out about 1/4 inch (to the minimum trigger reset) it is a few pounds heavier. The LEM is a consistent 7.5lbs regardless of how you reset the trigger.

I'm biased as I am pretty decent shot with SIG's standard DA trigger pull, b ut I really didn't care much for the LEM's "stacking" feeling just before break. The trigger was very smooth, thoughout, however.
