I don't like DI guns, so my "AR15" of choice is long-stroke piston based PWS MK116. I love it, except that it is very very loud. Cleaning and such is spot on, which is exactly why I bought it. I also don't like the fact it is made by a small company, should something go wrong with them.
FF to day, I was wondering if the SIG MCX would give me the same experience without my noted negatives. I have other SIG's, and we know they aren't going anywhere. Price is comparable.
Can anyone give their impressions of shooting and especially cleaning the SIG? From what I've read, the biggest negative is the trigger. I assume aftermarkets are available?
(I only want a gun for 5.56/.223, not .300BO)
