Yes, unless there’s some weird variant I’m unaware of, a P226 will accept any P226 magazines of any capacity.

Correct. The CA gun may have a goofy LCI as well but I’m not certain of that.

Thanks. Sometimes a bargain pops up on GB and the caveat is that it comes with a 10 round mag. I've got plenty of 15 round mags and for a bargain a 10 round mag is ok.

And having gone through the magazine limit 1.0 I like to keep one or more 10 round magazines for each of the pistols that take higher capacity ones just in case. And I actually load and carry with the 10 rounders to make sure they still take em in and spit em out as they are supposed to and that I'm still hands on. But only a few of my older pistols are double or stagger stack, most both new and older are single stack and so hold less anyway.

If 15 isn't enough, these 20 rounders are on sale. I bought a few when I got my P226 and they work as well as the factory 15s.
