I just picked up the sig today and was thinking about using it for one of my carry guns. Always like the sig 9mm and really like this pistol.
It was used but did come with the 5 mags and everything else also in the box. looks to have had about a box or so threw it.
Can not wait to go out and shoot it.

Nice, I pick up my 9mm 229 enhanced elite tomorrow. Shot one today and it was pretty sweet.

SIGs are great pistols and well worth the money IMO. I have more than a few and they are my favorite pistol brand though I like all quality pistols and wish I could afford to have some from every quality manufacturer and my next pistol will almost for sure be a Walther PPQ or P99 AS 9MM.

The fit and finish, over quality, trigger, and reliability have been 100 percent on all of them no matter what kind of ammo I put in them. They also look great and are extremely accurate and I shoot them best.

The P226 is especially sweet so enjoy it.

Contrary to poular belief you do not have to spend a lot to buy a SIG! There are a lot of great CPO - Certified Pre Owned and used SIGs on the market including police trade ins both from USA and from Europe.

Just be sure to take good care of it. SIGs like to run wet meaning that the frame rails in particular need to be kept well lubed always using a quality oil/CLP or grease. I use Weapon Shield or Slide Glide. Also be sure to follow maintenance guidelines including changing the recoil spring at least every 5000 rounds. Do that and your SIG will last a very very long time.

I just picked up another SIG myself last week. A NIB old stock P229 .357 SIG with triple serial numbers- my favorite type with no accesory rail for $529.

Congrats... You will surely enjoy it... Very solid feeling, and smooth as glass action.

I have the Tacops version in .40, which is pretty much the same as the Blackwater version.

I have an SP2022 in 9mm and love it. I believe it is the only polymer framed Sig out there. Does anyone know if the magazines for a 228 will work in the SP2022?

SIG also makes the P250 poly pistol but is a DA type trigger pull only.

I also have a SP2022 and it is a great pistol.

P228 magazines will not work in a SP2022.

I have the Blackwater P226 tactical with the extended mag well, beavertail and TFO front sight. It is the most accurate 9mm pistol I have owned. Great handling gun. Hard to beat 4 20rnd mags. Wish I would have bought 2 when I had the chance and picked up a Sig Blackwater 1911.
