So I was grazing the SIG Arms website, doing a little window shopping, and I happen to browse through the new products when what do I find...
They have a single-action only SIG P226 listed!
Regulars here may remember I've done my fair share of B&M that there is a lack of SAOs in general and high capacity 9mms specifically. I've even stated more than a few times that it was foolish of SIG to offer a SAO P220 AND a complete line of 1911s while only offering the prohibitively expensive X-five for SAO 9mm choices. How difficult could it be to just offer a SAO version of the 226, I opined. Well, it looks like I finally complained about something loud and often enough that someone heard.
Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I want one!
