Does anyone know of aftermarket grips for the P228 which will actually REDUCE the girth of the grip? Any amount, even slight would be a great improvement. I am familiar with the Hogue textured rubber and do not like them. Black plastic is fine (actually preferred). Wood grips are prone to cracking and generally increase the girth of the grip. If you grind or sand them down they are even more likely to crack. Except for the grips the P228 is perfect for me but I might have to settle for a P239. Does anyone know of any custom grip makers where custom actually means made to order? Thanks for any info.
