Sig repaired my P365XL

I sent my Sig P365XL back to them for failing to return to battery. I received it back from repair in 8 days total. Can't get much better than that.

The note in the box stated they replaced recoil spring, replaced extractor spring, lubed gun and fired 30 rounds Blazer Brass 124 gr. Noted no failures also shot 20 rounds of Speer GDHP 115gr and noted no failures. Cleaned/lubed and return to customer.

Today I shot it after the repair and shot 48 rounds total and had one fail to fire had no other issues at all. I chalk the FTF to a bad Browning 124gr round. The primer was struck but didn't go off. I rechambered the round and it went bang.

The jury is still out on the pistol but I'm very happy so far after the repair. I'll shoot another 100 rounds before I make a determination. At least it definitely shows improvement.

Impressive service and turn around time! Most impressive is that Sig ran some duty ammo through it too.

Glad to hear they have good service, bought an XL today and only got a few rounds thru it 74 to be exact. Some 115 and some 147 handloads and it is quite impressive so far. Hope yours continues to function well.

Well, of course it can...

I'd seriously consider another EDC handgun..not only because of your experience but the various other people's experiences with the 365...JUST IMHO...

MY EDC gun has NEVER had a failure in the 1500 or so rounds I have fired thru it...AND there aren't any piles of videos of problems wth these either.

MIne had the same issue. Per SIg, the problem was that it was just slightly out of battery enough where it wasn't noticable if you looked at it and while it did strike the primer, it was just not hard or deep enough to ignite it.

They do have quick turn around time and prior to returning mine for the last time before replacing it I received a call from the cusotmer service manager I was working with. He described what they did and detailed the number of rounds they put through it as well as what ammunition they used. He asked me what else I'd like for them to do before returning it to me, and based on what they did there was nothing else to be done. When the problem reoccurred they replaced the gun, and as I believe I mentioned before I now have 1000 trouble free rounds through it. I'd recommend testing it thouroughly before carrying it and if it reoccurs Sig will work with you.

Sounds like it's not a 100% fixed sig replace springs and you had a light primer hit and you sent it back because of ftf issues
Glad I went with the G48 instead I was just about to pull the trigger on the XL too

I didn't have ftf issues. I had fail to return to battery issues and that problem hasn't happened again in the 48 rounds I shot since repair. I experienced 1 fail to fire the pistol was in full battery and the round had a good strike on the primer. After a second strike the round fired. IMO it was a high primer on the round not a gun issue.

I have cleaned and lubed the pistol and I will shoot another 100 rounds before I even consider EDC this pistol. If I shoot the 100 rounds trouble free then I'll shoot some hollowpoints and if they prove reliable then I'll carry it. If I experience any gun related issues back to Sig it will go.

I had some issues with my sig p938 and had to send it back to them thumb safety felt like a looses tooth had lots of play in it Slide would not lock back on last round and the night sight's front one went dead on me Yes Sig did fix everything it's on my side now and has been for 3 years now But when I went looking for a new pistol I had to go with Glock this time so far over 500 rounds all trouble free
