sig sauer question

ok i was just browsing the sig sauer web page and looked at the p226 x five
i found something strange ok in 9mm it holds 19 rounds in the magazine in 40s&w it holds 14 rounds a full size glock holds 17 9mm and 15 40s&w
why such a drastic difference with this sigsauer?

X-5 mags are longer. That silver bumper on the bottom of the mag is like adding a +2 extension to a G17 mag. It looks flush on the X-5 cuz of the mag funnel. An X-5 mag would stick out some on a regular 226.

Ah, sorry, I read too quickly the first time. You're asking why, if it holds two more 9mm rounds than the G17 mags, does it hold one less .40, right? Don't know, sorry.
