Just got this scope on an M400 rifle. I do not have the rangefinder and I have not set up the phone app yet. The scope is mounted level. Inside the scope reticle are 2 dots on the far left & right that serve as a "digital level". If you're off one way, the right light comes on, of the other way the left one. If the scope is level, both lights are off. Seems simple enough and a cool feature. But here is the problem. Holding the scope to where both lights are off indicating the scope *thinks* it is level is actually canted a decent amount. I don't even have to look at a plumb line to tell when the scope indicates it is level it is not. But looking thru scope at plumb line real easy to see that the cross hairs are canted.

Not sure if that's a send to Sig for repair or just something I need to adjust thru the phone app for it. The manual didn't mention it at all. This is what it looks like: sigscope.jpg

Well, to make a plumb line all you need is string, something to hang it from and something to weight it at the bottom. I'd try that, sync with the app and make sure something is wrong before sending it back for as little as it'd take to verify.

I have the Sierra and the range finder. It's been a few years since I installed it, but I'm pretty sure I remember a set up feature in the scope that calibrates the level sensors and the compass. If you have the manual it should be mentioned. I'll try to dig mine up tomorrow and see what it says.
