Sig x-change kit

I own a sig 226 in 9mm. Will the x-change kits fit on it? The information I have seen indicates the kits fit on the 22 pistols. Is the 9mm sig 226 frame
different from the 22?

SIG Caliber Excahnge Kits

I just got a SIG 226 Elite Stainless in 40 S&W that came with two exchange kits, .357 SIG and 22 LR. From what I gather from the enlcosed instructions with the 22 LR kit and from the SIG website, you should be able to put the 22 LR kit on 226, 228 or 229. There is a different kit for the 220 and some of the variations of the 226, etc. Just make should you have right kit for your gun. But don't take my word for it, since what I got was already together, the SIG website is where I would check.
