Honestly, I think what Lee started will spread to most other singles, eventually.

As is my style, here's a "how-to-make-one from a Summit Press.....to start...with a little help from Lee APP Parts, and Inline Fabrication's flush mount:

Won't be a thread useful for anyone but Summit owners with 3d printers....so ignore it if you wish. I wanted it in the archives for the rare person who wants one. .stl files will be added soon.

With the wider mouth of the Summit, I had to find a spring longer than Lee's 3". Found a 4" at Ace Hardware.....but then the extra inch made it flex too much, so I added the clear thinwall plastic sleeve......as you can see that did the trick.

The Quick Change APP parts from TylerR over on CastBoolits, was the quick change parts....slightly modified. And the I.F.'s Flush mount has one extra threaded 1/4" hole. Working on getting the .stl's together....will post them in a Zip file.

Thank you....and one more time....thanks for inspiring me to buy a printer...I love how easy it is to "play" like I'm a machinist. You think a Forster could be modified similarly (maybe even with real metal parts)? It appears that my Autocad is good for something other than designing grocery stores....good thing....trying to retire from that sort of thing.

Here's the Summit Parts Zip file: Does not include the 3 downtube adapters in the video....working on those.

Nice job. Pretty cool that you could make that work.

Thanks.....got to do something to keep busy these days.

Here's the caliber specific insert zips.....they are designed to use clear thinwall tubing 9/16Dia for .270 and .308. 7/16Dia for .223. I modify TylerR's originals to work better for me, but they are still his designs so I keep the T "trademarks" in place. Tyler's APP part files are all downloadable free at the bottom of any of his posts on the CastBoolits "Making that Bullet Collater" thread in the 3D Printing Section. Trademark is to prevent them from being commercialized by anyone.

If you ever plan to buy a 3d printer you might want to down load it all at one time (APP and bullet/case collator stuff) and have it for the future.....it won't be around forever. He's younger than me and while I'm close to leaving the forums.....tired.....he's showing wear too.
