Not sure if this is the right place to post. There are 8 interns and residents at my old hospital who are interested in shooting skeet. They're located in Birmingham, AL. I'm only familiar with Skeet shooting at the Cahaba WMA and I'm not even sure if they have the machines that throw the clays.
I think my gun club has a skeet range (Brock's Gap), but it wouldn't be feasible because of the number of visitors that are allowed.

Does anyone know of a skeet range in or near Birmingham, AL? Thanks!

Southern Skeet & Trap looks to be the best bet. Thanks

They do not. Not unless they were built in the last month anyway. The only way you could shoot skeet there if you brought your own thrower or machine. Must be common enough as there are dead clays all over the ground usually.

the road out to that WMA range still a perilous journey?

I had wider and more upkept roads in large towns in Afghanistan than the road to Cahaba WMA.
