I've had my Tula SKS-45 for awhile, but this is my first real chance to get it out to the range and put a lot of rounds through it. While doing this I noticed the fixed magazine began getting a bit hot. I know the forward part getting real hot is normal, but I've never heard any thing about this before. I noticed this as I was using a sling drawn taught with my elbow resting against me my hand supporting the rifle back towards the magazine.
Any one ever notice this before or have any input on it?
