SKS a "Large Capacity Weapon" in Massachusetts?

Massachusetts law defines a "Large capacity weapon'' to include "any ... rifle ... that is semiautomatic and capable of accepting, or readily modifiable to accept, any detachable large capacity feeding device."

Does anybody know if Massachusetts considers a standard, fixed magazine SKS to be "readily modifiable" since there are (IIRC) kits out there to convert the SKS to accept detachable mags?

Any info, especially citations or links to primary source material, greatly appreciated.

Yo,

I purchased in state a fixed mag sks w/ FID card. Therefore it's not considered "large capacity" by the law.

A stock SKS is not considered hi-cap.

If you set up with detachable mags, it will be considered hi-cap, and thereby require a pistol permit.
