I think we got the last skunk about 3 nights ago. He died only about 15 yards from where I shot him. I placed his body at a field-crossing in the rock wall and a vulture came along and ate the carcass over a couple of days. It now smells a bit, but didn't when it was placed there.
Haven't seen any more skunks, after killing six or seven of them. In the past week, the dog across the street got sprayed and my son's dog almost got it, but got pulled away just in time.
