I've done "some" of the conversion. I have a stock from Top Notch on order, and I'm having the barrel work done as we speak. Here is what it looked like a few weeks ago.
FYI- it is no longer a "sporting arm", but a "LE Only" assault rifle. Department letterhead changed it for me.

Huh?PG/semi/detachable mag... no other AWB things... Is there something I'm missing?

Because the letterhead from my department says it is... and the ATF agrees. The receiver is now marked "LE Only."
The barrel is getting cut-down, threaded and fitted with a Phantom flash suppressor, and the folding stock will be added once it is delivered. An HK G36 bolt is in the carrier, and the G36 magwell accepts the G36 mags I have for it.
The "US parts count" law doesn't apply to "LE Only" assault rifles, therefore it had to be declared an "assault rifle" by my department before I could do any of the work.
