A tragedy. Six dead, including two male children. Three other children in hospital, two of them critical. All victims except one child have gunshot wounds. No suspects. Shooter believed at large.

It sucks that all the recent bloodshed is necessary to prove to people that guns are necessary and good. Fortunately, it is doing just that. At least you aren't hearing the screaming for more gun laws as loud.

I dunno. In a lot of people, it does the opposite. These incidents are collateral in a gun society, as car crashes are in a mobile society. In my mind, the calls for more gun control after an incident such as this is similar to calls for lower speed limits after a horrific wreck.

This shooting sure sounds like drugs are involved.

I'm in Memphis (or a suburb) and hearing all kinds of horrible stuff. Lemme see what the news reports tonite and I'll try to elaborate. Supposedly it has been a horrible scene police officers have never seen before.
