Smith 10-5

Can anyone tell me when my 10-5 was made, SN# is C966###.
I can only find between 62-68, was curious if there was a closer date.

Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 4th Edition says 1966-1967 serial number range is C810533-C999999. WAG extrapolation would place yours mid 1967. Only sure way to know is to pay for a letter from Smith and Wesson.
