My wife bought me this for my birthday, and I was wondering if anyone had one and their experience with it. I love 1911s, and shoot my STI alot. So far just disassembled cleaned and lubricated it. Hope to take it to the range this weekend.

I've got a SW1911Sc and I can tell you that compared to an ATI you're gonna love it. I did replace the grip panels with a set of fake ivories with the S&W medallion on them from Midway and prefer the smooth panels over the checkered wood ones. Although it's an everyday carry piece and not a fashion statement they really look sharp. Take her out let her exercise with a hundred or so rounds and I'll bet you might have a "new" favorite 1911.
