Alex45ACP,
Clint Eatwood's character in 'Bloodwork' carried a 2.5" 627 X8 from a special run for Camfour distributors, I believe. It is perhaps the most sought after, despite the Eastwood character's apparently poor marksmanship with same. Low production numbers and that movie made it a collectible. The pricey 327 snubby is a great piece for some, due to it's size. I have shot it... but my aversion to another Ti cylinder makes it a non-entity here. Still, nicely done - and not the miserable handfull feeling of a 340 with hot rounds - the N-frame, even lite weight, really helps. I had pondered the conversion of the Miculek PC 627 V-Comp I traded for last spring to a 'Bloodwork'-ish version - until I shot it with my wimpy .357M & .38 reloads - wow. Great revolver - and my only PC gun - a really great revolver, and I am fortunate to have traded for it.
